Bang My Line

Lil Spacely Bang My Line

Premiered on Warner Music’s Cool Accidents -

Sydney rappers Lil Spacely and Danté Knows have linked up for their new track Bang My Line, and we're stoked to be premiering the song's music video. The video sees them have a run-in with police, and it's not a pleasant experience - especially if you watch it in reverse.

Bang My Line sees Spacely and Danté trading verses, and it's a definite flex. Spacely and Danté are two of Australia's most exciting rappers, and Bang My Line is a prime example of why they're turning so many heads. Their flows are addictive, and the track's beat will have you bopping your head like crazy. This is one you'll want to spin over and over.

The video for Bang My Line is politically charged, and the message behind the visual is one you'll take to heart. Everyone involved with this video has done an amazing job adding to the conversation around police brutality, and it's an arresting watch.

Speaking about the video, director Angus Bell Young says it's a response to the treatment of minorities at the hands of police. "Bang My Line is a no holds barred response to the political brutality of PoC lives and the overrepresentation of incarcerated minorities.

"Watching this video forwards is a fun approach to emancipating the often overlooked by a comical set of insiders, but the events that unfold in reverse aims to deliver a more poignant message of our tragic political reality. FTP.”

Lil Spacely echoed Angus' thoughts, saying it's a video that showcases a different side to him. "We wanted to do something dope for this video, so we went above and beyond to make that happen. Bang my Line is showing a different side to my releases and showing a more thought out plan when it came to putting together the video."
