Prada

Florence Fahmy with the Prada
Cahier Black Leather Belt Bag for Cosette

This is my second collaboration with Flo and after further tightening of public safety restrictions and a self isolating production team, we ditched the Paddington location shoot and set up on my rooftop for a few hours on a Friday afternoon. The sun was dipping in and out of cloud cover so we used the soft light to our advantage.

Prada as a brand has this timeless legacy that deserves a look calling back to its 1913 century old heritage, while maintaining the modern evolutions and processes. Mario started Prada but it was taken over by his bad-bitch daughter Luisa and run for decades by the powerful women of the Prada family. So you look at this series and think “gee I didn’t get that at all”.

Well look harder.

Here’s a modern day bad-bitch sporting the bag like she would flying from business meeting to business meeting, to dinner then a gig. Flo has this innately calm sensibility and a simplicity in her form which can sway from chic casual to powerful haute couture.. je ne sais quoi x
